DC AU- the Magicians Mirror pg 1

An excerpt from my would be AU universe.  Full tentative title- "The Adventure of the Magicians Mirror".

Some explanation might be in order here- After the BO showdown Shinichi and Ran are both declared dead and forced to go underground.  Three years since it all began in Tropical Land finds the pair both finally back to 'normal', living in New York City under the assumed names Sheridan and Joan (still not sold on those names), and quite happy (well, as happy as you can be when married to a corps magnet).   Unfortunately, though perhaps inevitably, their past comes crashing in on them in the shape of a most unexpected house guest.

Thoughts?  Pointers? Ideas?

on a side note- I just love the idea that even after all these time, intimacy still flusters the hell out of Shinichi, and Ran never quite looses her blush.   SHIP IT SO HARD!
